Description
The Battery Balancer equalizes the state of charge of two series connected 12V batteries, or of several parallel strings of series connected batteries. When the charge voltage of a 24V battery system increases to more than 27V, the Battery Balancer will turn on and compare the voltage over the two series connected batteries. The Battery Balancer will draw a current of up to 1A from the battery (or parallel connected batteries) with the highest voltage. The resulting charge current differential will ensure that all batteries will converge to the same state of charge.
If needed, several balancers can be paralleled.
A 48V battery bank can be balanced with three Battery Balancers.

Seems to work ok. Keeping the 4 lithium iron phosphate batteries within 0 .1 volt of each other when charging.
looks to be a well built and relivable product, but for the use I have actioned it with looks to not work for my needs in Winter to solve my battery issue as the operation voltage is 27 v but i need a lower voltage. i am sure in summer with a better output of my solar panel it will work as described. Defiantly not an issue with the product but my research at time of purchase.

Outstanding company
I probably didn’t do enough research before I purchased the product for my application of 2 batteries wired in parallel. The product is intended for 2 batteries (12v) wired in series. I did not see this notated in the product description. I ended up giving the balancer to a friend who had the series batteries!
My system has 2 x 12V AGM lead acid batteries in series powering a 24V inverter (recently converted from parallel batteries with a smaller 12V inverter) and I have noticed the batteries had been getting significantly unbalanced. So I have fitted the battery balancer from Victron just to see what difference it makes. There are times when the batteries are not equal but overall it has improved significantly.
